Me and My 'Fro

Happy Wednesday Everyone!!!!!!

I think I should begin by saying, since its summertime, my blogging will not be as much, m'kay?!!!! Really sorry, but the weather is so fabulous and as much as I love my hair journey, I dont just want this blog to be about only hair lol, so I am off to find fabulous stuff to blog on. But for today, this post is about my 'fro. hahhahahah - I cant get away from my hair!!!!!

So, I took out my individual braids after washing and oiling my scalp and hair. The plan was to either do a rollerset or Bantu knot. To stretch the hair so I can do a length check. Well, me being lazy, Bantu knots won in the end. So off I went along my merry little way knotting my hair and sticking bobby pins in to secure. Then it was off to bed. I should mention, I did my knots on dry hair. the next day, Epic Fail!!!!!!! My Bantu Knot out was a Major disaster and I had to head to town, so whats a girl to do?????? I combed my hair out and did a huge Afro!!!!!! Then I tied the front part back, coz that 'Fro was in my face. I fluffed and fluffed and I was good to go.

I wore some cute earring, a funky chunky necklace, my brightest smile and off I went. Did yours truly get stares people?!?!?!?!!!! I got some smiles, I had a few cars slow down (at the bus stop) and a lovely old lady played in my hair (yep she had her hands all in there) as I was coming down the escalator. I wasn't mad at her, shoot, I was playin in my hair tooo lol. She commented on how lovely and soft my hair was....!!!!!!

All in all I was feeling myself, had James Brown in my head all Day!!!!!!! Say it Loud.......... (You know the rest). Check out the pictures.

My Bantu Knots

This was at the bus stop. I had cars slowing down y'all!!!!!

These pictures dont do the 'fro justice, let me say, my hair was Big!!!!!! Big big big Chaka Khan Big HAIR!!!!! ohhhhh and it was blowing in the wind.......yep, my fro was swaying back and forth dancing in the wind........ Good Times, Good times.

So, now, today, gonna either twist it again or do more individual braids.
