30th April 2012 - updated with video.

'My path has not been determined. I shall have more experiences and pass many more milestones'.
 Agnetha Faltskog

Hi all

Today is a day that I reached a personal milestone in my life. I have no words to describe the emotions going through me right now.

I was having a conversation with the lady friend that I am living with and I was seated on her bed, talking and explaining as I do. Then I looked down and realised I was seated in a strange position. At first I couldnt believe it. So I went into my own room and sat on my bed and did it again. and again. and Again just for good measure. Yep, just as I had suspected, I can sit like this.......

Artist: Jim Dandy

Those of you who have been following my blog know I have a 'situation' with my left leg, that I have been working on. Well, today, I can sit in a cross-leg position. I have never in my 29 years been able to sit like this. My left leg was too short to reach the other one and this position was somewhat very difficult for me. But today, my body did its own thing and made me aware.

I am in awe - of Myself, of my Inner Strength, my Determination but  most of all of my Patience and Courage to believe in myself and Go Beyond what others considered limitations.

Now I need to figure out my camera and take a photo.

Keep a lookout for that special photo!!!!! -  Took a vid instead, pictures coming up later lol.

Blessings, Love and Milestones.

Hauz Khas pictures

'Monuments and archaeological pieces serve as testimonies of man's greatness and establish a dialogue between civilizations showing the extent to which human beings are linked'.  Vincente Fox

Hi all

I spent Saturday afternoon, Rocco in hand in the Lovely Hauz Khas Village. Here are the fruits of my labor.  I don't have much to post about, I would rather let these pictures do the talking. I will say, I am seriously proud of these particular pictures. Enjoy!!!!!!!

Postcard perfect!!!!!

 On and on.

When I was younger, I wanted to study archaeology. I had this fantasy of wearing khaki pants, a wide sun hat, gloves in hand, dirt at my finger tips and history at my feet. These pictures reminded me of the fact that India was one place I have always dreamed of coming to. I am more and more grateful to be here. This place is seriously a dream come true for me. I feel  more Blessed every single day.

Sunday Cheesecake Moment

'Because you don't live near a bakery doesn't mean you have to go without cheesecake'. Hedy Lamarr

Hi All

So recently I went to a funky lovely coffee-shop (Costa Coffee) in my local area. I was lured by the huge posters of Cheesecake. Here are some Photos I took.....

So good.....

Had to do a close up of this goodness

My complete meal.

Not a bad way to spend a Saturday morning, I would say. I am seriously beginning to really enjoy Vegetarian food. I mean before I would just eat, now I enjoy the process of eating, I watch exactly what I am putting into my system and have an awareness of the benefits as well as how I am eating, my mood. I have learnt to be silent when I eat and to give proper Thanks during this time.
