'The sari's radiance, vigor and variety, produced by a single straight length of cloth, should give us in the West pause and make us think twice about the zipper, the dart and the shoulder pad'. - Naveen Patnaik
Happy Sunday
So today I was suppose to go on a tour but its Election day here in Delhi and almost everything was closed. What we did was end up in an emporium, where my friend bought a large Kashmir silk handwoven mat and I bought 6 gorgeous silk scarf (which will get a separate post) and I tried on my first Sari. Take a look.....
Me walking
I love this color, but wasn't really prepared for trying on clothes so my black spaghetti strap top wasn't matching lol
I really don't know what to do with my hands.....
up close and personal
Showing the arm length....
So yep, will probably end up buying some Sari's before I leave but for now, I will just look at the lovely ladies everyday!!!!!!! I swear, everyday I see more and more beautiful sari's in the street. The women look so beautiful regal and elegant, even as they run across the streets. It so amazing to watch, the flow of the Sari's, the colors and the way the women carry themselves when dressed in one. Breathtaking
Blessings, Love and Sari
