Cloth Diaper first try

Happy Monday everyone

This weekend we decided to try Maya on the cloth diapers and see if she will take to them and how they really work. And lets just go to the pictures shall we?

We put a nappy liner on-top of the cloth diaper. We wanted to see if it would soak through. These can be thrown away after usage.

So Maya's first experience was well used. She went straight to number two. Didn't even give me a little time to get used to her just peeing. Nope. She went straight for it. Don't pass Go. Do not collect.

So for the cleaning, I just held the dirty diaper over the toilet pot, held it tight at one corner and flushed and everything went down. Then I rinsed it and washed with soap. Nice and clean.  Like brand new.

All in all, the next few times were good. Am really happy with the Cloths and the ease of putting them on and taking them off as well as cleaning. My Love on Top (Yes I am A Taymartian) Maya seems to like them and wore them without complaining. I wasn't sure how she would react, the new sensation, the feel, the way it felt when she used it. Am happy that she seems happy. So we will stick to the Cloths and only use the normal diaper when we go out.

So I would definitely say for us Cloth diapers has thus far been a great success.

If you get the chance give them a try as well, trust me you will be well pleased!!!! Especially after seeing how many diapers a new born baby goes through!!!!!! Shuuuuuu that aint no joke.
